Teaching - In collaboration with members of the Graduate UX Collective, the UX Lab facilitates teaching workshops and demonstrations to prepare instructors for usability or UX related topics. Our members are trained to assist instructors in using testing technologies, as well as usability and user research methods. We feature a speaker series that connects students and visitors to UX researchers and designers who may also offer networking opportunities.

Upcoming speakers:

Design - The UX Lab provides UX design and evaluation resources. Anyone at Texas Tech University may take advantage of these resources to design prototypes and conduct tests. The UX Lab is an advocate for user-centered design by showcasing design projects by TTU students and faculty.

Outreach - Engaging community partners in Lubbock and the surrounding area facilitates the research, teaching, and design priorities of the UX Lab. We look to include potential partners from commercial, non-profit, government, and citizens' organizations in events hosted by the Graduate UX Collective to identify projects of mutual interest that accomplish community goals while supporting research and teaching through field work, applied projects, and external funding.
