HUSC 1100: Introduction to Human Sciences

HUSC 1100 is an overview of the College of Human Sciences, seminar on strategies for academic success, and exploration of resources available to Texas Tech University students. The course is designed to help prepare a student for academic and personal success and is a continuation of Red Raider Orientation.

The course is required for all new and transfer students during their first semester enrolled in the College of Human Sciences. Students are expected to enroll in the section that most closely relates to the chosen major. Section career clusters:

**Human Sciences and Human Sciences Undecided should choose the section most closely related to academic and career goals.**

The HUSC 1100 sections are taught by a member of the College of Human Sciences Student Services team. You will have the opportunity to meet, interact, and build a professional relationship with a member of the faculty or academic advising office.
