Human Sciences Day Features Student Organizations and the Celebrated Homecoming Parade Watch Bash

The College of Human Sciences hosted its 2nd Human Sciences Day celebration, featuring a student event full of food and student organizations during the day and festivities with alumni and families during the Texas Tech Homecoming Parade.

The fall semester's focus for Human Sciences Day was the highly anticipated Texas Tech's Homecoming Week. Even Raider Red joined the celebration to snag some swag and participate with students, faculty, and staff.

During the first portion of the day, student organizations gathered in the college breezeway to showcase opportunities available in Human Sciences student organizations. Many organizations see a rise in members during or after the event.

The evening welcomed a diverse audience of students, staff, faculty, alumni, and their families for an enjoyable evening of games and grub. Attendees mingled and cheered in one of the best seats in the house as the Homecoming Parade passed by. 

Looking to the spring semester, Human Sciences Day will take on a new approach, inviting many campus resources to participate and inform students about the endless ways to succeed both on campus and in the College of Human Sciences.
