WHAT: Skyviews is hosting a Gatsby Speakeasy themed silent auction and reception style dining event. Tickets to the event cost $50 per person. Chefs from Cocina De La Sirena, The Crafthouse Gastropub, The Lubbock Country Club, the Overton Hotel & Conference Center, Skyviews Restaurant, and the Texas Tech Club will be running food stations, and pair food selections with distinguished fine wine. All silent auction proceeds will benefit the student programs in the Hospitality and Retail Management Department at Texas Tech.

WHEN: November 16 from 6-9 p.m.

WHERE: Skyviews Restaurant, 1901 University Ave.

EVENT: Skyviews Restaurant is having a Gatsby Event Speakeasy to benefit the Hospitality and Retail Management Department at Texas Tech. Attendees will sample food and wine pairings reception style, and have the opportunity to interact with Lubbock's premiere chefs. There will be a silent auction featuring gift cards, event tickets, and great items for both men and women.

The Gatsby Event Speakeasy will be an exceptional evening of fine wine pairing and alluring cuisine for attendees. Event coordinators have chosen to offer a selection of finer wines from Spain, France, and California. Attendees can walk from station to station, interacting with local chefs, tasting the selected food and fine wine pairings, while placing bids on the silent auction. Skyviews hopes to reach out to people who enjoy fine wine and dining, and aims to raise funds for the Hospitality and Retail Management student programs.
