Student Veterans of America

The Texas Tech University Student Veterans of America (TTU SVA) is dedicated to providing camaraderie, honor, commitment, and service to our campus community. Operating in full alignment with Texas Tech University regulations, we are a community built by veterans, for veterans and their supporters.
Our Purpose
- Camaraderie & Fellowship: Creating a strong, welcoming community for U.S. military veterans, active-duty service members, and patriotic supporters alike.
- Academic & Social Success: Equipping our members with the essential tools and peer support needed to thrive both in the classroom and in life.
- Service & Leadership: Taking on active leadership roles on campus and volunteering within the local community to uphold the honor and dignity of Texas Tech.
Membership Requirements and Code of Conduct
All members of the Texas Tech University Student Veterans of America shall adhere to the following standards:

Enrollment: Members must be currently enrolled at Texas Tech University or one of its satellite campuses.
- Participation: Members must demonstrate an active interest in supporting and participating in activities that include military and veteran students and their families.

Respect: Members shall always treat others with respect.

Institutional Standing: Members shall strive to remain in good standing with Texas Tech University.
- Representation: Members must always represent the organization and Texas Tech University in a positive light.
