Applying For Benefits to Receive a COE

Getting Started

1.  Click here to access the va.gov 1990e application form.
   
   
   1. Be sure to read over the required information needed to fill out the application at the bottom of the va.gov page.
2. Next, sign into your va.gov account.
   
   
   1. If you do not have an account with va.gov, you can complete the application without signing in. Simply click "Start you application without signing in" as indicated in the picture below.
      
3. Complete the application process.
4. After your application is approved, you'll receive your COE or award letter in the mail.
