Cotton in the Time of Pandemic and Trade Wars

U.S. tariffs on Chinese-made apparel imports and the COVID pandemic have important impacts on the U.S. cotton industry. This class will explore the economic implications related to these recent events and examine what the path forward may look like. Specific estimates of impacts will be presented along with a discussion of some of the non-economic impacts of these events on strategic interests and future supply chains.
