COVID-19 and the Public Health Department

Inarguably, the COVID-19 pandemic is a crisis like none other! Having to deal with massive shutdowns, which still impact many areas of our lives, is more than inconvenient. Individually, we must consider how our personal activities affect our own health, as well as how they can impact the health of others in the community. Katherine Wells will discuss the point of view of the pandemic from the perspective of the health department. Learn about the response as the virus began to spread, contact tracing; additionally, vaccine development and distribution. She will also share with us what has been learned the past year, as well as what is expected in the future.
