Close Up Of Woman's Hand Sewing Quilt

Treasured Quilts from Grandma's Hands

Do you wonder about a treasured quilt that was made and passed down in your family? Join Judy as she discusses the history of quilt making from centuries ago to the present time, the basic construction of a quilt “sandwich,” the importance of quilt documentation, and how to take care of that treasure from the trunk. We will have a virtual show-and-tell, so please have your quilts nearby.

Judy Moore Pullen has published five books on quilt making and shares her skills throughout the United States and Mexico. She has had a lifetime opportunity to enjoy the art of quilt making and the fruits of previous generations of handmade quilts within her family. She teaches at the Houston International Quilt Market and Spring Market.
