Through a combination of literature, writing and linguistics courses, students build foundational skills needed to teach effectively in today’s classrooms. Hybrid-Lubbock students may pursue a secondary education minor and collaborate with the College of Education to work toward certification. While the minor is not available to fully online students, this track lays the groundwork for entering a post-baccalaureate certification program or continuing graduate study in education or English.
