MAB Coursework & Format

The Master of Agribusiness (MAB) offers flexible online and in-person options designed for working professionals. Coursework focuses on applied economics, agribusiness management, finance, marketing and quantitative analysis to strengthen strategic decision-making and leadership in today’s agricultural economy.

Professional Internship & Final Examination

A required professional internship allows students to apply program concepts within a high-quality organization, building practical business expertise and career readiness. Students already employed may complete the internship in their current workplace with approval. After all degree requirements are met, students must pass an oral final examination demonstrating mastery of agribusiness concepts and the ability to connect their internship experience to future career goals.

Prerequisites

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or be admitted to the Accelerated B.S./MAB program in Agricultural and Applied Economics. Prior to beginning graduate coursework, students are expected to have completed foundational courses in microeconomic theory, regression analysis and accounting with a grade of B or better. Any required prerequisite coursework does not count toward MAB degree.
