The Online Master of Education in Educational Leadership Policy at Texas Tech University is a 36-credit-hour graduate program designed to prepare educators and administrators for leadership roles in K–12 schools and broader educational systems. Delivered fully online in an asynchronous format, the program integrates policy analysis, school leadership, legal frameworks and data-driven decision making to develop effective and ethical leaders. Students examine the relationship between schools and communities, analyze educational change processes and strengthen the communication and strategic planning skills essential for organizational leadership. Coursework emphasizes applied leadership practice, collaborative team development and evidence-based decision making within complex educational environments. Graduates are prepared to advance school improvement efforts, support student achievement and engage stakeholders through informed, policy-aware leadership practices. 

The M.Ed. in Educational Leadership Policy is a non-certification program and does not lead to Texas principal certification.
