Financial Aid & Scholarships

Managing Your Expenses

We know that college is a big financial investment in your future. That's why financial aid is offered by the Bob L. Herd Department of Petroleum Engineering, Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering, and Texas Tech University. Each institution has its own application requirements and processes, so we've listed them all in one place to ensure that you can take advantage of all the opportunities available to you.

College Scholarships

The Whitacre College of Engineering offers a number of externally funded scholarships.

Once a student applies, he/she is matched to the scholarship for which he/she qualifies. The general scholarship application covers all scholarships — students do not apply for individual scholarships.

For further information, visit the college's scholarship web page.
