Director, HRPPCassiDe Street

CassiDe Street serves as the Director for the Human Research Protection Program. She serves as the direct liaison to the IRB chair and associate chair. CassiDe assists Texas Tech University researchers with constructing and submitting IRBs to gain approval to conduct human subjects research. Also, she coordinates reliance/collaborative agreements between Texas Tech investigators and external investigators.

Prior to joining the Office of Vice President for Research, CassiDe was the coordinator for Student Retention in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) at Texas Tech. She coordinated all retention activities for CASNR and served as the advisor for Ambassadors for Agriculture. Before returning to Texas Tech, she worked as coordinator of Prospective Student Services at Oklahoma State University's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

CassiDe received her bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree in agricultural communications from Texas Tech. Her research areas are in higher education student retention and recruitment. CassiDe is a member of Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R) and Association of Research Integrity Officers.

CassiDe is a native of Kress, Texas where she grew up on her family's cotton farm. In her free time she enjoys going to Texas Tech sporting events.
