Peer Mentoring Network
The STEM CORE CREW Undergraduate Research Peer Mentoring Network, hosted and sponsored
by STEM CORE, empowers undergraduate researchers by pairing first- and second-year
undergraduate students with experienced peer mentors.
Approximately 25 peer mentors work with 2–3 mentees. Mentees apply through an open
application process and are matched based on research interests, academic needs, or
major/college affiliation. Through structured guidance, academic support, and community-building,
the program fosters student belonging, research literacy, and sustained engagement
in undergraduate research. This peer mentorship program is from January 2026 - May
2026.
