Mentor: Dr. Naima Moustaid-Moussa and Dr. Yujiao Zu

Career Plans: Haley is an undergraduate student at Texas Tech University who is pursuing her master's in Nutritional Sciences within the College of Human Sciences. In the fall of 2022, she joined the Nutrigenomics, Inflammation & Obesity Research Lab (NIOR) mentored by Dr. Naima Moustaid-Moussa. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a dietetic program. Current research is on heat shock proteins (DNAJB3) and their relation to obesity and insulin resistance.
