Meet Brittanney
My name is Brittanney! I am from a small town called Laredo. I am originally from
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU). While others had sports in high school
I had college classes. Since I started high school I was taking courses that would
eventually help me in my academic career. I am a first time college student so being
here and following a difficult degree is exciting. In my free time I like to go shopping
and looking at fashion magazines as well as fashion shows.
While doing my undergrad I am involved in Society of Women Engineers(SWE), which is
really important to me because Engineering is a very male dominant career. It is nice
to have a group of women supporting women. I am also involved in American Medical
Student Association, where future medical scholars can come together and learn and
be more exposed to the medical field by doing volunteer work. I am also involved in
American Medical Women's Association which is for female health workers to feel empowered
and come together to inspire each other.
After I graduate from Texas Tech I want to attend medical school to become a general
surgeon.
