The College of Education is transforming the way educators will impact our future by implementing intensive clinical experiences, incorporating video technology and focusing on student learning.

Our TechTeach program has earned top marks from the National Council on Teacher Quality, placing it in the top 35 programs in the nation.

The College of Education is the sole teacher certification office for Texas Tech University. Students interested in teaching Elementary School, Middle School or High School Science are housed in the College of Education. Students interested in additional secondary teaching options will major in their content area and minor in secondary education. Download the certification chart

Undergraduate students in the College of Education at Texas Tech University will complete course work to earn a Bachelors of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and earn a teaching certification.
