Technology Equipment Purchases and Resource Guidelines

Technology equipment and resources are provided to faculty and staff to help achieve the mission of the College of Human Sciences. These resources are intended to assist with providing education to students, assist with research projects, and help with outreach.

Technology Services, in conjuction with the CoHS Technology Committee, has created, reviewed, and implemented a series of standard guidelines that should be followed when purchasing/using TTU-owned equipment. The standard specifications for desktop and laptop computers can be found below. Should the need arise for a department to order equipment that exceeds the standard guidelines, the business manager for that department is required to fill out a Technology Purchase Approval Form (For More on the Form please see below).

Any technology purchase that exceeds the standard guidelines set forth above will require review and approval by the Unit Manager of CoHS Technology Services.

Download the form to your computer. Complete the form, save it to your computer, and email the completed form as an attachment to Kory.Ellis@ttu.edu.

Note: Monitors may or may not be purchased with your equipment at the discretion of your department.
