How do I register for Opportunity Days events?

Should I attend Opportunity Days even if I'm not looking for an internship or job right away?

Absolutely! You do not have to interview, but attending the events and interacting with professionals will be a great way to start networking. Bring resumes and/or business cards if you wish!


Where do I pick up my nametag for the week?

For students that have registered at https://ttuhumansciences.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_6g3rhgnzCcjC0Lz may pick up nametags in Cynthia Cantu's office on Feb 25th and 26th and should wear them Wednesday through Friday at all events.


How do I register for an interview?

PRegister for interviews through career services, and upload resumes on RaiderJobs: 806-742-2210, www.depts.ttu.edu/careercenter/.


How do I attend PFPA Casino Night?

First register at https://ttuhumansciences.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_6g3rhgnzCcjC0Lz for all Opportunity Days' Events.

Get in touch with your PFPA officers to pay for the tickets or Cynthia Cantu in 257B.

Prices: Paid member: $10, Unpaid member: $15, Student: $20, Other, $25.

If you want to purchase more tickets to gamble with, they will be an additional $5.


What is the attire for these events?

Dress for most events is business casual. However, it is business dress for the banquet and interviews.


Will there be a time for interaction with the business representatives?

There will be a sponsor panel on Wednesday followed by an unofficial meet and greet at Café J that will kick of the Opportunity Days networking. Every other event is an opportunity to network as well.


How much does it cost to attend the banquet?

Banquet tickets are $10 if paid for on or before February 15th. After that date the tickets go up to $25. Cash only please. Tickets can be purchased in Cynthia Cantu's office. Be sure to also register at https://ttuhumansciences.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_6g3rhgnzCcjC0Lz.


Can I bring a significant other or spouse?

Yes, prices may vary for each event they wish to attend. Admittance to the banquet for a guest will be $10 if purchased before Feb 15. Admittance to Casino Night will be $25 if he or she is not a student. Golf is available for spouses at the student price as well.


I would like to participate in the Golf tournament. Who do I need to get in contact with to purchase my ticket?

Golf tickets can be purchased from Cynthia Cantu and should also be included on your registration at https://ttuhumansciences.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_6g3rhgnzCcjC0Lz. Students may play for $50.


I have already registered for Opportunity days but have changed my mind of attending a few events?

This is ok! You can change your response to take off you rsvp from an event or attend a new event by emailing Cynthia Cantu at Cynthia.cantu@ttu.edu.


After I upload my resume to raider jobs what do I do?

In order to apply for the interviews you will sign into your RaiderJobs account, select on campus interviews and apply. You will see all the employers accepting applications. You can then submit your resume for them to review. If you are selected you will receive an email indicating if you were selected or not accepted. Always check your junk mails because these sometimes go into Junk.


How will the golf tournament be formatted? Will there be any contests? Will lunch be provided?
