Welcome to Space Management and Planning (SM&P).

Our mission is to provide accurate facilities information in a variety of formats to promote information exchange regarding facilities composition and utilization to maximize resource acquisition, ensure beneficial stewardship of facilities, and enhance decision making.

• In order to serve Texas Tech University and Texas Tech University System, SM&P:
• Acts as an information hub in all aspects of facilities information
• Creates and maintains the official space inventory (TechSpace)
• Provides inventory information in a variety of formats
• Maintains and updates floor plans for all buildings
• Provides analysis and recommendations regarding classroom and class laboratory utilization rates and the THECB Space Projection Model
• Facilitates communication and coordination across all levels of the TTU community
