ACADEMIC EVENTS
Need a Space for Your Event? We Can Help!
There are lots of places on campus where student groups and Texas Tech staff can hold events. If you want to reserve a room in an academic building, log in to Ad Astra with your eRaider account. There, you can see room details, check if its available, and send in your request.
Plan Ahead!
Most departments are requiring 3 business days (excluding weekends) to request building access before your event. This does not include the 1–2 business days to process your request. Please plan ahead.
Watch your email for a confirmation message. It will include your room info and important instructions. We hope your event is a success!
Student Organizations Fall 2026 Requests
Student Organization academic classroom requests will open on Monday, August 10th at 8:00 AM.
Student organizations must have fully completed all Campus Life registration and risk management compliance requirements for the 2026–2027 year prior to submitting any event requests. Compliance is required for approval, and organizations that have not met these requirements will not be permitted to schedule events on campus, in accordance with Texas Tech policies.
Please ensure that your organizations 2026–2027 leadership and advisor information is accurate and up to date in TechConnect before submitting your requests.
