Tanya Massey – University Student Housing

Tanya Arflin Massey earned her bachelor's degree in Horticulture (Turfgrass Management) and her M.Ed. in Counseling and Guidance Services (Student Affairs Administration) from Clemson University. During her career, she has worked at Clemson University, Kansas State University and has spent the past 16 years at Oklahoma State University. She is dedicated to serving families through their on-campus experience and values how living on campus can positively impact a student. Tanya is a strong believer in education and has served as the Ward 3 board member for Stillwater Public Schools. Tanya has held several leadership roles in regional and national housing organizations, serving as the President of the Southwest Association of College and University Housing Officers (SWACUHO) and holding a position as a review coordinator for the Programming Committee in the Association of College and University Housing Officers International (ACUHO-I). Tanya and her husband have three children, one who will be a first-year student this fall at Texas Tech. In her spare time, she loves to garden, cook and watch her kids play sports. She is also a huge fan of college football and baseball.

Chris Riley – Data Management Division

Chris Riley is the newest member of the Data Management Division where he will be serving as a Data Governance Project Manager. Chris is a Lubbock native and lifelong Texas Tech sports fan. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Studies with a minor in mathematics from Tarleton State University (TSU) in 1999. In 2001 he earned his Master of Education in Physical Education, also from TSU. Chris ran track and field at TSU and served as a Graduate Assistant Jumps Coach while earning his master's degree. For the past 19 years Riley worked with a federally funded college preparatory program at South Plains College (SPC), Upward Bound. For 17 years he served as the Director of Upward Bound. For six of those years Chris was also a volunteer assistant track coach at SPC and was blessed to be a part of 12 national championship team titles. Chris and his wife, Jennifer, have two children. Their daughter is a 7th grader at Hutchinson Middle School and their son is a sophomore at Lubbock High School. Chris' hobbies include hunting, golf, disc golf, and really anything outdoors.

Lindsey Featherston – Accounting Services

Lindsey Featherston is Accounting Services' newest employee, beginning her role as a Research Administrator (I) in July of 2022. Lindsey is a Levelland native who still resides in her hometown. Lindsey graduated from Howard Payne University with a BA and a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Lindsey has a son named Hayden who will begin first grade in the fall! Lindsey's career goal is to earn a master's degree in counseling. Fun fact: Lindsey played basketball at South Plains College!
