Mission

The mission of the Burkhart Center at TTU Research Symposium is to celebrate the research and innovation relevant to autism by students from across the Texas Tech University System. The symposium will encourage and foster an environment for the students to showcase their work while providing an opportunity for the community to learn and support the research being conducted at Texas Tech University. 

What is the Burkhart Center at TTU Research Symposium?

The symposium will be an all-day event that highlights undergraduate and graduate research conducted at Texas Tech University related to autism. Students who participate are provided a venue to interact with autism professionals, members fo the local autism community, and faculty members across campus as they showcase their work through presentations. 

Who can participate? 

All TTU undergraduate and graduate students are invited and encouraged to participate. All faculty are encouraged to facilitate students' participation. The university and autism community, along with alumni, is invited to attend the poster or oral presentation sessions to support the student presenters and to hear keynote speaker, Robert Pennington, Ph.D. BCBA-D. BCBA CEUs will be provided for free to all Board Certified Behavior Analysts for qualifying presentations.

Continuing Education:
