Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Economics at Texas Tech University offers a dynamic and challenging undergraduate program that provides students with a solid foundation in economics, as well as a variety of options to specialize and tailor their education to their individual goals and interests.

Our Bachelor of Science program is highly structured and technically oriented, ideal for students who desire an in-depth study of economics and its tools. The Bachelor of Arts degree, on the other hand, provides students with a broad liberal arts education while allowing them to specialize in economics and understand the complex relationship between consumers, producers, and governments in an economic system. The Bachelor of Science in International Economics program combines international politics and international business with economics to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the global economy. Finally, students interested in the subject can choose to earn a Minor in Economics, providing them with an opportunity to gain deeper insights into the workings of an economy.
