Fashion Design in the United Kingdom

Explore all that fashion has to offer in this 3 week study abroad opportunity in the United Kingdom. During this tour, students will be able to visit fashion houses, textile mills, fashion history and art museums and exhibits, and have access to a working design studio where students will use inspiration and creativity in a fashion design related workshop. Spend time studying the inspiration and methodology of exemplary UK fashion designers such as Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. Students will also have the opportunity to see iconic London landmarks as well as explore surrounding cities and popular tourist attractions. Researching trends and visiting designer boutiques in England and an optional trip to Paris, France, allows students to create a library of design inspirations for years to come.
