The Bachelor of Arts in Arts Media and Technology (BA-AMT) is a unique undergraduate program for students who wish to pursue future careers in arts media and technology. Instead of a traditional major, students select three fields of specialization to take classes in areas that will help them build their portfolio for their future career that might not fit into a traditional fine arts or related degree.
Build Your Program
The three areas of specialization must each consist of a minimum of 18 hours in the chosen discipline, for a total of 54 credit hours.
- Arts-Based Technology Program:
- Digital Narrative Arts (2D or 3D animation, computer graphics, video, storyboarding, character design)
- Music Technology (digital music composition, music recording)
- Theatre Design (sound design, costume technology, theatre design visualization)
- Fine Arts Photography
- Another Program Option from List Above or:
- Arts Entrepreneurship (Collaboration with Rawls College of Business Administration)
- Studio Art (Multiple Options)
- Theatre Arts (Acting, General)
- Dance
- Music (Applied, Popular, General)
- Community-Focused Art Education
- Media/Technology Area Outside of our College (May Only Choose One):
