The Department of Interdisciplinary Arts offers a unique Bachelor's degree in Arts Media and Technology (formerly the BA in Interdisciplinary Arts Studies). Students select one of two curricular tracks within the BA-AMT degree program.

The arts media track combines traditional studio-based coursework in the fine arts with interdisciplinary training in electronic media and digital media production. Typical course plans in the arts media track include minors in Creative Media Industries, Transmedia, and Studio Art.

The arts technology track blends creativity and design with a rigorous curriculum in computing applications and technology. Typical course plans in the arts technology track include minors in Computing Applications, Music Technology or Theatre Arts – Design, and General Music.

Finally, the IAS includes an interdisciplinary core curriculum that juxtaposes, integrates, and synthesizes the selected fields of specialization for each student.

For students in any Bachelor's degree program at TTU, focused course and studio work is available in the form of certificates or minors in Animation, Arts Entrepreneurship, and Motion Picture Production.
