A storied history

Students in the PhD in Fine Arts at Texas Tech University have been producing innovative and unique dissertation projects for over half a century. Since the first dissertation in 1974, the FADP's nearly 300 dissertations map a network of methodologies, disciplines and subdisciplines, and interdisciplinary approaches that has evolved with changes to the FADP curriculum and with the changing currents in academia and society.
