Bachelor of Science in Sport Management

Tech Sport Management Group

This student-led and faculty-advised club works to provide networking, professional development, and service opportunities to Texas Tech Sport Management majors and minors.

The Tech Sport Management Group hosts bi-monthly Wednesday Workshops for professional development, and monthly Lunch and Learn activities in which a healthy lunch is provided while a faculty member provides a master class-type discussion related to their industry experience.

The group also provides ambassador services for the department, participates in university and community service activities, and enjoys monthly social gatherings at sporting events and general meetings.

Membership is open to all Texas Tech University scholars within the Kinesiology and Sport Management Department. To join, go to the Tech Sport Management Group on TechConnect and follow the instructions. Feel free to contact any group member or Faculty Advisor Dr. Julie Mata with any questions.
