Statement:
Established in 1929, the Museum at Texas Tech University (TheMaTT) stands as the premier multidisciplinary museum of West Texas. With collections including Art, Anthropology, Clothing & Textiles, History, Paleontology, and Natural Sciences, the Museum cultivates curiosity, enriches education, and deepens our understanding of who we are, where we come from, and what connects us across time. Located in Lubbock, Texas, we welcome visitors free of charge Tuesday through Sunday—come and see what will inspire you next.

Our official name is the Museum at Texas Tech University. Any use of the Texas Tech Museum is inaccurate and should be discontinued immediately. While we are a proud entity of Texas Tech, we are not a museum only ABOUT Texas Tech, but multidisciplinary with six collecting divisions.
