Registration opens September 1, 2026 at 10 AM.
Collection Connection is a hands-on homeschool program designed for students ages 11–14. Students will explore the Museum of Texas Tech University through engaging lessons in art, paleontology, and natural science. Through gallery tours, hands-on activities, creative projects, and scientific investigation, students will learn directly from museum collections and specimens. The art sessions encourage creativity and critical thinking through drawing, design, clay, and exploring works in the galleries. Paleontology and natural science sessions invite students to think like scientists as they investigate fossils, specimens, and the natural world. Come explore, create, and discover at the MaTT!
Must be a homeschooler between the ages of 11 and 14.
There is a $100 refundable deposit for the program. The $100 will be entirely refunded to the participant upon completion of all 6 classes. We will accept cash, card, or check. We can take payment over the phone for credit and debit cards.
All deposits must be paid by September 18, 2026 at 4 PM.
