Graduate Certificate in Youth Program Management(GPIDEA)
About the Program
The Graduate Certificate in Youth Program Management and Evaluation is designed to prepare professionals who are working directly with adolescents. The certificate is designed to assist youth professionals to develop and apply resources for successful implementation and management of youth-serving organizations. This certificate is available only through enrollment in Great Plains IDEA. The program requires one foundations course and four electives from the following topics:
- Administration and Program
- Adolescents and Their Families
- Community Youth Development
- Contemporary Youth Issues
- Grant Development and Management
- Program Design, Evaluation and Implementation
- Youth in Cultural Contexts
- Youth Development
- Youth Policy
- Youth Professionals as Consumers of Research
