Communication Advisory Committee

The Communication Advisory Committee (CAC) comprised more than a dozen faculty and staff members from across the institution and representing all academic colleges. The CAC developed the language specific to the Communication Literacy requirement and facilitated the institution's transition from the Writing Intensive requirement to the Communication Literacy requirement. The CAC also served as reviewers for departments' initial CL plans and provided departments with feedback concerning their proposals. The CAC completed its charge once all academic departments adopted and fully transitioned to inclusion of Communication Literacy plans as part of undergraduate degree program requirements.
