Reissued Diplomas (Replacement or Duplicate)
Texas Tech University issues one original diploma to each graduate. TTU graduates may purchase a replacement diploma for one that has been lost or destroyed, or an additional diploma for their personal use.
The replacement or duplicate diploma will bear the date the degree was awarded, as well as a reissued date. Diplomas are reissued in the current format, will reflect the current awarding college for the degree, and bear the signatures of current Texas Tech University and Texas Tech University System officials, no exceptions. The name on the reissued diploma will match the name on the original diploma unless an official name change is filed with the institution.
Graduates may order a reissued diploma via the Parchment system, through a contracted agreement with Texas Tech University. The service is provided through a secure and encrypted system.
The cost per reissued diploma is $50 (additional fees may apply), and payment must be made by credit card.
Reissued diplomas are mailed, usually within 3-4 weeks of order completion. Please allow additional time for international delivery.
Important Notice: Requests for reissued diplomas for students who graduated prior to 1983 will require 3-5 days of additional processing time.
