Each year, TrUE recognizes outstanding TTU undergraduate students and exceptional faculty mentors for their exemplary performance and dedication to undergraduate research and creative activities. Nominees are celebrated throughout the Spring/Summer on our website and social media!
Nominee Eligibility Requirements
Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher (OUR) Eligible students must be:
- currently enrolled at Texas Tech University at the time of nomination
- a full-time undergraduate student at the time of nomination
- either currently at the time of nomination or within the last year, have completed an undergraduate research or creative activity under the supervision of a TTU or TTUHSC faculty member
Outstanding Faculty Mentor (OFM) Eligible faculty members must be:
- employed as a faculty member at TTU or TTUHSC at the time of nomination
- either presently or within the last year, have served as a faculty mentor for a TTU undergraduate research or creative activity project
- nominated by a current or recently graduated (within one year of the date of nomination) TTU undergraduate student
