October 14-15, 2022

The Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences, in partnership with CISER, the Honors College, the McNair Scholars Program, STEM CORE, and the TLPDC, brings the Texas Tech undergraduate community the first Transformative Undergraduate Experiences Symposium. This symposium will bring undergraduates, faculty, and TTU programming together to showcase their work in transformative experiences here at Texas Tech University. The Symposium will be held October 14-15, 2022 in the Academic Classroom Building on the TTU HSC campus. 

TrUE is excited to bring a new event for undergraduates to present their work during the Fall semester. The Undergraduate Research Conference, hosted in the Spring, will now feature only poster presentations, and the oral presentations will move to this fall symposium, in the form of synchronous 3-min Impact Talks. 

These sessions focus on giving students the opportunity to articulate the impact of their projects and hone their skills in communicating their projects to a non-expert audience.

TrUE Transformer's, TTU faculty who received funding through the Helen Jones Foundation, will also be showcasing their work through the 3-min Impact Talk sessions and displaying a poster.
