The Language Learning Laboratory & Research Center Expands Its Services to Students

Lab1

David Villarreal, Director, affirms that The Language Learning Laboratory & Research Center (LLL&RC) continues to work towards providing the best service to the students and faculty of CMLL. With more language programs using the lab for testing and an increasing number of graduate students using the lab for their own research projects, the LLL&RC found it difficult to accommodate CMLL's growing need for our resources. To resolve this increasing requirement, CMLL built a new addition to the lab which can hold 20 students and an instructor control console. This new lab will allow us to serve multiple classes at the same time. We are very excited to be able to serve more language testing and research.

Lab2

"For the first time since having taken the director's position at the LLL&RC, we provided technological services to over 10 research projects conducted by Applied Linguistics and Spanish Linguistics graduate students. The Spring 2015 semester was an exciting time for the lab and we look forward to continue to offer our services to research in these programs." - David Villarreal
