First Generation Transition and Mentoring Programs provide first-generation college students with a community of support through peer mentoring and staff guidance. Second Year Success of the First Generation Transition and Mentoring Programs serves students through the second year experience in college, academic support, career readiness, and social connections.
First Generation College Student is defined as having neither parent or guardians having earned a 4-year bachelor's degree in the United States.
Second year students are undergraduate students that are returning to Texas Tech after their first academic year enrolled at TTU or students that were classified as a first year student for one semester and returning for the next academic year.
Please complete this participation registration to join a community of First Generation College students, faculty and staff committed to your success! Join before August 2, 2019 to get connected before you come to campus!
Students can join at any point in time throughout their first year.
