Theater for Social Change

In It Together

Included as part of Texas Tech University's Diversity Week, “In It Together" is a 65-minute, 3 actor, multimedia production performed by the Los Angeles based production group, Will & Company. In It Together takes audiences on a journey through America's history on inclusion, multiculturalism, and diversity. Topics of the stories performed include race discrimination, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, diversity in the military, and Right of the Soil. 

Will & Company has twenty years of experience creating and presenting diverse productions for college audiences across the country. The ensemble's work has been presented at more than five hundred colleges campuses, and at more than 30 national conferences, including; NCORE, NACA, APAP, WAA, NODA, the National Conference of Social Justice, the International Conference of Fulbright Scholars, the National Conference of Suicide Prevention, and many others.

Cast

William Gabriel Grier

William GWilliam Gabriel Grier, has appeared in a multitude of national commercials for Toyota, Mountain Dew, Call of Duty and Geico and on the show Days of our Lives. You can see him performing in the longest running play in Los Angeles "Welcome Home Soldier," or one of his many original plays. He hosts a weekly standing room only Improv show in North Hollywood with his Improv Group Gibbon's Tail. Many releases in 2015 ranging from his starring role in the feature "Conspiracy Connection" a suspense thriller dark comedy, to his lead role in insane comedy "Richard Peter Johnson."

 

Samantha Cutaran

Samantha CAfter graduating with a B.F.A. in theater at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Samantha made the move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television. She made her television debut on CBS with her moving performance on Criminal Minds and has also been seen in Pretty Little Liars, Hallmark's A Crush on You and the lead in an independent feature film. She also produced and played the lead in Patrick Marber's play Closer.

 

Colin Cox

Colin CColin hails from Stonehenge, England and started his career as a research biochemist. At the same time, he was an actor with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. After teaching biochemistry in Japan, Colin moved to Los Angeles where he returned to his theatre roots and in 1988 founded the acclaimed ensemble Will & Company. His productions have been presented in all fifty States, to the United Nations Association, the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, the International Conference of Fulbright Scholars, the National Conference of Justice, and, uniquely, at the U.S. Mint. The NEH, the NEA, the NAACP, the PASA Awards and the GLAAD Awards have all honored his work.
