My name is Lauren Atwell and I am a senior, Advertising major and Communication Studies minor originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. After relocating to Houston, I chose to attend Texas Tech for its wide range of degree offerings in the field of communication. In the summer of 2010, I worked as a brand ambassador for Target and its "Back to School" event and in the fall of 2010 I interned with Mr. Youth, a New York City-based marketing agency, in which I helped promote the Xbox Kinect on Tech's campus. More recently, this past summer I worked as a student assistant in the Office of Communications and Marketing for Texas Tech University System.

I am interested in consumer-brand relationships and marketing strategy, and in the future hope to have a career in account planning or account management. I will graduate in May of 2012.
