West Texas Association For Botany

WTAB

West Texas Association for Botany (WTAB) is a student organization at Texas Tech University, which is also a student chapter of Botanical Society of America. WTAB is a plant research focused organization and aims to build a vigorous plant research society, as well as raise awareness of plant research across colleges in West Texas.  

Goals of the Organization 

• • Organize graduate student-led seminars and cross-departmental events. 
  • Offer graduate-undergraduate mentorship. 
  • Organize dry lab and wet lab workshops for undergraduate and graduate students. 
  • Arrange career chats by inviting professionals who graduated with a biology degree.
