Photo Description

Research Interests:

My lab uses Drosophila (fruit fly) model and cell culture to study

(1) the cell signaling that controls nutrient homeostasis and obesity;

(2) the neuromuscular degenerative pathways associated with motor and fertility defects; and

(3) the molecular interaction that controls cell division and differentiation during eye development.

We use techniques of cell & molecular biology, genetics, microscopy, biochemistry, bioinformatics and statistics in our research.
