We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Lutz Kilian, the esteemed Senior Economic Policy Adviser at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. With a distinguished career that has spanned significant roles at prestigious institutions like the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund, coupled with a remarkable portfolio of over 100 published articles, Dr. Kilian's contributions to the field of economics, particularly in time series econometrics, empirical macroeconomics, and energy economics, are truly significant. His profound understanding of complex economic phenomena like oil price fluctuations, household inflation expectations, and deflation risks, among others, coupled with his influential textbook on Structural Vector Autoregressive Analysis, promises a keynote address that will offer valuable insights, inspire innovative thinking, and ignite meaningful dialogues.

We are honored to welcome Dr. Marina Azzimonti, a Senior Economist and Research Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, as well as a Research Associate at the NBER Economic Fluctuations and Growth (EFG) and Political Economy (POL) programs, and a Research Fellow at the CEPR. With expertise in Macroeconomics, Political Economy, and International Finance, Dr. Marina Azzimonti's work has been published in prestigious journals such as the American Economic Review, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Monetary Economics, International Economic Review, and Review of Economic Dynamics, among others. Notably, Dr. Marina Azzimonti has also developed the widely recognized "Partisan Conflict Index" that tracks political disagreement among US politicians. With a wealth of experience and contributions to the field, Dr. Marina Azzimonti is sure to provide invaluable insights and perspectives during the conference.

Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport has direct flights to Dallas, Austin, Houston, Denver, Phoenix, and Las Vegas via American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines.
