Research
- Sedimentology
- Stratigraphy
- Vertebrate Paleontology
My research interests are in clastic sedimentology, stratigraphy, depositional systems, and paleontology. I am primarily interested in continental and paralic sedimentary facies, and their preserved vertebrate fauna and flora. Two major areas are the subject of my research: the Upper Cretaceous and early Tertiary strata in the Big Bend region of Texas, and the Upper Triassic, Tertiary and Quaternary strata in the High Plains re! gion of western Texas and eastern New Mexico.
