Research
Dr. Reygadas specializes in remote sensing and spatiotemporal statistical analysis applied to environmental modeling. Most of her research focuses on detecting land-use/land-cover changes and analyzing the impact of those changes on climate and human-environment interactions. She is particularly interested in remote and largely forested Latin American territories where extremely complex land-use/land-cover dynamics take place due to weak governance and contested land rights.Courses
