A word from the Director

The principle of operation of the High Performance Computing Center at Texas Tech that guides all or our work is to strive constantly to maximize the overall intellectual, academic, instructional, research, and funding productivity of all faculty, staff, students, and research partner participants of the university through access to advanced computing.

We are completely dedicated to helping everyone find optimal usage of the HPCC resources to improve their work, and to set the stage for those at TTU who need resources that extend beyond our on-site capabilities to apply for and to use national and other large-scale computing facilities by operating and provisioning the resources here so as to provide the same type of software and conditions that are in use at such large-scale competitively awarded facilities.

HPCC Staff Members

The hardware and software resources of the HPCC are provided by a hard-working group of dedicated, professional, and friendly staff members who also provide training and consulting available to all of the Texas Tech community.
