Founder Interview

Dr. Carl Andersen, Dr. A. to his students, founded the Center for Collegiate Recovery Communities (CCRC) in the mid 1980s, as a means to educate students about addiction and recovery, and to establish a recovery-oriented establishment for students in recovery.  Dr. A's vision, leadership, and dedication created the foundation for the CCRC as it is today, an inspiration to other colleges and universities to create such a space on campuses across the nation.
