September 2024: Dr. Rogers invited speaker for Sexism|Cinema!
Dr. Rogers presented as the guest speaker at Sexism|Cinema for the film, Mean Girls (2004)! They shared themes about how teenagers are often depicted in media, girls patrolling one anothers sexuality, and intersections between class, gender, and race, and facilitated an intriguing Q&A with the community audience.
August 2024: Mikayla Hesseltine Graduates!
Mikayla Hesseltine graduated with her B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences, and minor in biology. September 2024 Update! Mikayla recently began Physician Assistant School in Atlanta, Georgia. We are so proud of you, Mikayla!

Derek Morgan received the Texas Tech University Human Development & Family Sciences award for outstanding senior graduate student researcher award for the Spring 2024 semester.
