Summer Camps 2021
Camp registration opens on June 1st at 10 a.m.!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Maximum of 10 children per camp (due to social distancing guidelines).
- Registration for all camps is first come, first serve.
- Registration does not guarantee your child's spot. You will receive a confirmation email from the Museum's Education Division if you receive a spot.
- If you register and do not receive spot, you will be placed on a waitlist. You will receive an email from the Museum's Education Division if a spot does open up.
- Registration closes the Friday before the start of the camp or when camps are full.
- All camps are $100 per camper.
AROUND THE CAMPFIRE: 7-9 YEAR OLDS
10 A.M. - 12 P.M.
JULY 13-15
AUGUST 3-5
Get ready for a summer experience inspired by camping and the great outdoors. This
session will focus on crafts, games and activities within the museum that highlight
elements of nature, animals and some of the exciting adventures camping has to offer.

MAKER'S STUDIO: 10-13 YEAR OLDS
10 A.M. - 12 P.M.
JULY 20-22
AUGUST 10-12
This camp incorporates math, science, history and art into hands-on, do-it-yourself
activities, crafts and games.

12-14 YEAR OLDS
2 P.M. - 4 P.M.
JULY 6-9: DRAWING BASICS
JULY 20-23: DRAWING BEYOND THE BASICS
COST: $100
DRAWING BASICS
Learn about the materials and basic techniques to get started with drawing. We will
learn about lines, shading and texture using graphite pencils. All materials are provided
and may be taken home at the end of the camp.
DRAWING BEYOND THE BASICS
Build on the basic skills through applications of texture, line and shading while
also learning about form and perspective. We will draw animal forms that are displayed
in the exhibit, “Biodiversity of the Llano Estacado.”
15-18 YEAR OLDS
2 P.M. - 4 P.M.
